• Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) - promotes a sustainable energy future by changing the way New Zealanders think about and use energy.

• Greenlist sustainable directory - highlights the positive attributes of products and services by allowing users to make simple comparisons against a set of six sustainability principles. It does not attempt to list the negative attributes of products.

• Landcare Research - owns and operates the carboNZero programme. Landcare Research is New Zealand's foremost Crown Research Institute specialising in sustainable management of land resources, optimising primary production, enhancing biodiversity, increasing the resource efficiency of businesses, and conserving and restoring the natural assets of our communities.

• New Zealand climate change information - climate change policy and information on the Ministry for the Environment website.

• Sustainable business management products and services from Landcare Research - the carboNZero programme is one of a suite of products and services offered by Landcare Research. These include Enviro-Mark NZ, E-Manage, Greening the Screen, and Sustainability reporting.

• Sustainable Living - an educational programme promoting sustainable behaviour, providing practical advice on energy efficiency and other sustainability issues.

• The Ecolabel directory - carboNZero programme listing - a site that help people understand the validity of environmental claims about a product. It brings together more than 200 labels, ranging from generic phrases like "eco-friendly", "biodegradable" and "clean and green", through to robust certification programmes. ECNZ was recently cited in a British government report as an example of an international best practice standard against which national labelling schemes could be benchmarked.

• Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - provides scientific, technical and socio-economic information relevant for the understanding of climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation.

• The Greenhouse Gas Protocol - an initiative jointly convened by the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) to develop accounting tools for greenhouse gases.

• United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) - information on climate change and a forum for asking questions of UNEP experts.

• United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) - the secretariat of the UNFCC holds official documents and reports, and assists Parties in communicating other information related to the Convention; it also serves the Kyoto Protocol.
